Book Discussion: Between the World and Me

Each month the group will read a new selection, then meet to share their thoughts. A limited number of copies of each month’s selection are available for checkout at the front desk of the library. There is no fee to participate and you don’t need to sign up in advance. Just read the book for the upcoming meeting and join us on the last Wednesday of each month for lively discussion and light refreshments.

May’s Selection is Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates | “In a series of essays, written as a letter to his son, Coates confronts the notion of race in America and how it has shaped American history, many times at the cost of black bodies and lives.”e
