PPL’s Annual Chess Tournament 2026

Join Princeton Public Library Chess Club as we sponsor our Annual Chess Tournament!
 
This event will be overseen Beckley Area Chess Club Tournament Director David Hundley.
 
This event is open to all ages and skill levels within two categories: Junior (Ages 12 and under) and Adult (Ages 13 and up).  Membership to the US Chess Federation is NOT required.
 
This free event will be held at Princeton City Hall, 800 Bee Street.  Participants are asked to arrive at 9am with the tournament beginning at 10 am.  
 
We encourage participants to please plan to stay the entirety of the tournament to ensure even matches.  Foods, snacks, and drinks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
 
Pre-Registration is available through this website and our Facebook page, but on-site registration will be made available the day of the event.
